The origins of these celebrations date back to Sant Antoni, the patron saint of Mallorca, who retired to a cave to pray and meditate, away from the world. It is said that four demons appeared before him, enticing him to indulge in sin by dancing around him. Sant Antoni refused and a fire appeared, frightening the demons away. 

These mischievous characters narrate four events that occur in the streets of Palma de Mallorca during this time.
